The biggest problem with photography is that you only get one angle and one point of focus. BERG have been playing with a concept where one camera takes hundreds of shots of an object at every angle and focus point you can think of. This then is translated into app where you can swipe around and alter the focus point. In the concept video they use a watch as an example and are able to look at every little bit of the watch possible.
This would be a great way for companies to show off products they sell. Because easily the biggest problem when buying stuff online is actually looking at the product. You only get a few shots of the product, making it a lot harder to look at the little details.
