Instagram has just had a minor update to 2.1 adding three new changes. I don't understand why other blogs are calling this a "massive update" when it really isn't.
This new feature you will see when editing your picture. It'll be on the bottom left and enhances your pic, kind of auto correcting it. It can do a good job most of the time but I've found it only works well with pictures from the iPhone 4S. When using pics from my Panasonic GF2, it doesn't seem to have much effect at all - guessing this is because the pictures from the GF2 are a lot more accurate.
I hated the previous Instagram UI, and I'm sure many will agree with me. It had this overly old vintage look which just didn't look right. Thankfully they have changed this. The top and bottom bars now have a blue hue with a matt look which is absolutely gorgeous. Love the matt look.
Lastly, they added a new filter called "Sierra". All this concludes the update. The improved UI I think is the main part of this new update and will be welcomed.
Now, when are you coming to Android, Instagram?
