There is no question that sleep is something we all need. How can we possibly go forever without giving our brain and body a rest. This infographic specifically points at students who lose sleep and how it can affect the grades they achieve.
Only 24% of students report that they get enough sleep every night. Of this, 20% reported that they slept for 8 hours or more every night. Financial concerns, time management and stress were the main reasons why students do not get enough sleep. A study found that students who get A's and B's got 35 minutes more sleep than students who get D's and F's.
However you shouldn't oversleep. Oversleeping produces its own problems such as the increasing rate of heart problems, obesity and cognitive impairment.
