If you've been keeping with the whole MegaUpload saga, you will have heard the file sharing website has been shut down on piracy allegations by the US government. Apparently they have cost major record labels and publishers around $500 million of lost revenue due to files being uploaded and distributed illegally.

It looks as though the US government has also asked the New Zealand authorities to seize anything owned by MegaUpload their founders.
