Android Ice Cream Sandwich was announced in Hong Kong just a few hours ago and the new version of the Android platform includes many new and updates features, all brushed with the elegance of the ICS UI.
One of the new features which appeared in Android 4.0 is Beam. Beam allows users to quickly send data between two devices using NFC technology just by touching them together. Currently, you can only send maps, websites, apps and YouTube videos, but APIs will be put in place which will let all developers to take advantage of this quick sharing.
