The idea behind Alex Varanese's 'We Are Not Time Travellers' poster collection is how modern technology products would have been envisaged and advertised, if released in 1977. The stylised imagery is of high quality and very reminiscent of the era.
Varanese also claims that he would "gladly trade in my immaculately designed 21st century gadgets for these hideously clunky, faux-wood-paneled pieces of ? ber-kitsch". To be honest, I particularly appreciate some of the ancient gaming handheld exteriors over their modern counterparts. What's you opinion? Would you do a switch your shiny white plastic to faux-wood?
