Google Goggles is the fantastic way to perform images and barcode searches on your phone.
In the recent 1.6 update, Goggles now allows you to automatically scan any image you take using your Android devices camera and send them straight through to the Goggles app. This means that you no longer need to do one image search at a time. Snap away with your regular Android camera and if and when results have been found, you can view them in the notification pull down.
The second update feature, allows Goggles to act more like independent Barcode scanner apps in which they know the function of certain barcode. This means if the barcode has a specific purpose e.g. redirect to a website, it can read this information and perform the necessary action - very useful.
