From using this neat little memory card reader I've found that I don't need to use my computer any more. I can edit right on the go on my iPad. The picture you see above was edited on my iPad through an app called PhotoStudioHD. Definitely recommend it to anyone who loves to play with filters and effects.
It is very small and compact. As you can see in the palm of my hand. It will easily fit in a pocket or could be stored in your camera bag.
It can read up to 5 different memory cards, the 5 most popular ones used by cameras.
It has a total of three slots. One for the big old CF, one for the SD and MMC cards, and one for the Micro SD and M2 cards.
Unfortunately I did not have any memory cards on hand to show what happens when you plug in a card into the reader. However it's nothing amazing. It just loads up the photo gallery on the iPad within a matter of seconds, then you can choose to import all photos or import selected ones. It also enables you to delete the pictures from the memory card once you have imported a picture.
This memory card reader is definitely a good purchase if you like editing on the go or want to quickly transfer pictures over to your iPad. With all the photo editing apps available for the iPad you can edit pictures in nearly anyway you like. It's a must buy for those who aren't so good with Photoshop and love to use different filters and effects through the iPad apps. It's compact and small so it can easily be put into a pocket. The only downside is that it feels quite cheap with the plastic that was used.
