Usually CV/resume's can be a bit boring with just the plain black on white paper. Making your CV/resume stand out can get an employers attention and make them think more about the person you are and whether you would be fit for the job. I did a post a month back on some amazing looking CV/resume's, you can check that out here.
There is a service called CVgram which can transform your CV/resume into a great colourful but to the point infographic. It's a great way to be concise and to show the vital information without having to waffle on about the person you are. You can choose from many different colours, backgrounds, fonts and more to customize the infographic. It's a great way to make your CV/resume stand out and get attention.
One tip I would also recommend when printing out a designed CV/resume is printing it onto high quality paper or card, so when someone gets hold of it they will feel like it needs to be taken care of and not just shoved to the side into a pile.
