You don’t have to look far to find a good quality streaming speaker in 2020, but if you’re looking for the best of the best, Bang & Olufsen has teamed up with LAYER Design to bring the Beosound Balance.
The new speaker features a cylindrical top half wrapped in 3D-knitted wool and a base crafted from solid timber, creating a unique design that could easily be mistaken for just an ornamental piece. It doesn’t just look pretty either, it packs two 5.25″ bass drivers, two 2″ full-range drivers, one 3/4 tweeter, and 3″ full-range drivers.
The Beosound Balance can be paired with a second speaker to create a stereo setup, while also connecting with Google Chromecast, Apple Airplay, Spotify Connect, and Amazon Alexa voice control, making it fully equipped for any modern home.
With all this power, does come a hefty price tag. You can pick up either the Natural Oak or Black Oak variations from here for a cool $2,250 / £1750.
