Limbo was first released for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC but now it’s come over to iOS. Featuring a flat 2D design with a monochromatic colour, the game is actually very minimal – even the sounds are minimal.
The aim of the game is to advance through levels working out routes and tricks. It actually plays with your mind a little, making you explore the level properly, finding out neat tricks and moves that will enable you to advance.
When you first start up the game, you’re not even shown any controls. You’re shoved into a level and have to work it out yourself. Thankfully it’s simple enough – tap and swipe to move forward or backward, and swipe up to jump.
