Designed with care and a passion for well-designed houses, the team at SAOTA created this gorgeous abode known as the “De Wet 34″. Located in the expansive city of Johannesburg, the South African based team designed the house to have a variety of open spaces. The sliding doors utilized throughout the house allow for easy passage between indoors and outdoors as well as terrific views of the surrounding water and city.
Situated in the middle of the courtyard, the mixed kitchen and living room area provides a great area for guests and a great area for relaxation. The house projects a modern flair and a welcoming atmosphere throughout. The low-backed couches and white colors increase grandeur and make rooms seem larger than they are.
Keeping true to nature, the designers used a variety of materials in the creation of the abode. The ceilings are made using well manicured wood, the floors are made with stone, and walls are made of multiple materials. The mix of natural materials creates a contemporary atmosphere as well. SAOTA did not skimp out on the bathrooms either because almost all bathrooms provide a panoramic view of the water.
