HTC Droid DNA

I don’t understand HTC sometimes, I’m sure they said they would only be releasing a few devices this year, but instead they’ve released a boat load. Nevertheless, this is their latest addition to their selection.

This beast of a phone has a 5-inch full HD (1920×1080) screen packed in it. Which means it has a crazy 440ppi, iPhone 5 eat your heart out. The screen is protected with Gorilla Glass 2 so you can be assured it won’t break easy if you drop it.

With the screens ppi being at 440, it has the best pixel density of any consumer device available right now, including tablets, computers and TV’s.

It’s powered by a 1.5Ghz quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor, has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, Beats audio and NFC. It has an 8MP f/2.0 rear facing camera which has a 28mm wide-angle lens It also has the BSI sensor and ImageChip hardware, taken from the HTC One X. It has a huge 2020mAh battery which is reassuring. Oh and it has Qi wireless charging, I mean like who needs damn wires these days.

The unfortunate thing about this though is that it will only be available in the US on Verizon. However I’m sure HTC are working up another device just like this for the UK and EU.
