Pulse, the massively popular rss/news reader for mobile phone devices and tablets has now released a web version of the app.

It brings the dark with blue accents experience from mobile devices and transforms it into a huge news reader for your desktop. It works on HTML5 and is actually very well built.

It has a responsive layout so as you resize your browser window, the content will move around to fit. You can also choose between a magazine style, grid or small grid layout.

Once you sign in with your Pulse account all your feeds are synced across your devices like expected. The web version also allows you to add new feeds a lot more quickly and easily. Enabling you to sort them all into their own categories.

When you click on on article it’ll show you a stripped view of just the content, so that is all you concentrate on. The content will actually open in a pop up so you never leave the homepage. When viewing content you can also share it to Facebook, Twitter and via email. You can favourite/save content for later and adjust font size too.

Everything has been made to be super minimal and uses a lot of white space. You can also quickly move to the next article via pagination they’ve added at the top of each post.
