If you’re a Mac user you’ll probably know of CloudApp, the very useful file sharing service which is free to use and very simple. However ever since the launch of Dropbox, the cloud based storage system has been a massive hit, Apple even wanted to buy it at one point, but they refused.
Droplings is just like CloudApp, but for Dropbox. You can simply drag and drop files directly over the icon in the menubar and it’ll instantly start uploading, once it has uploaded, the file’s link will then be automatically copied to your clipboard (you can also turn this feature off). This makes it so much easier and quicker to share files instead of having to open up Dropbox and do it all manually.
And with Dropbox usually also offering more space, for example I have 42GB of space, and with Dropbox apps being everywhere, it makes it a lot more convenient.
Droplings is free for now because it is in BETA stages. However once it is completely ready there will be a price tag on it. So if you wan it for free, get it now.
