Halo 4 Limited Edition Xbox 360 Coming November 6th

Halo 4 Limited Edition Xbox 360 Coming November 6th

If you’re just as excited about Halo 4 as I am, then you expected this announcement for some time. At this year’s Comic-Con Microsoft unveiled a Limited Edition Halo 4 Xbox 360 Bundle that’s completely wrapped in Halo mythology.

Shipping for $399.99 (USD) the bundle comes with a Halo 4 inspired Xbox 360, two Halo 4 inspired Xbox 360 controllers, a wired headset, standard edition copy of Halo 4, and download codes for exclusive in-game and avatar items. To go along with the Halo 4 theme, the ring of light surrounding the power button on your Xbox 360 and guide button on your controllers have also been changed to blue to stick with the color scheme.

Along with the bundle announcement, a separate Halo 4 themed controller will make it’s way onto store shelves on October 21st and will cost $59.99 (USD). The design of the stand alone controller differs from the bundled version; displaying shades of grey and branded with the UNSC emblem.  Accompanying the controller will also be an Avatar T-shirt as exclusive downloadable content.

What’s surprising is that there’s no mention of this console making any sort of sound. The recently released Star Wars themed Xbox 360 makes the signature beeps and bloops of R2-D2 and even the older Halo: Reach themed console made noises heard in the game. Even with the absence o sound, this great looking console will definitely find it’s way into many houses when Halo 4 releases on November 6th.
