The new Dropbox for Android BETA has been let loose and comes with some neat new features and additions which I’m sure Dropbox users will benefit from.
The new BETA app now lets you upload photos and videos in the background, either through Wi-Fi or data. When you upload your first photo, you will instantly be rewarded with 500MB of extra storage. And for every 500MB of photos and videos uploaded, you’ll receive another 500MB until you get up to 5GB of storage. So if you have a lot of photos and videos this is your chance to get them all backed up on to your Dropbox. You’ll then be able to access all those precious anywhere.
Other features include no file size limit, which used to be capped at 180MB, support for resuming file uploads if you disconnect from the internet and some other performance and bug fixes.
