Twitter Mobile has announced its new mobile features today and they are a big step up from their predecessors. The new features include checking statistics, getting tips and - the big one - uploading images.
The new photo upload service is supported by the following networks; AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Cellular South in the US; Vodafone, O2 and Orange in the UK; Vodafone in Italy; Rogers Communications in Canada and other networks across the world with more to be supported soon. To use the service, all you have to do is send a photo via MMS to your regular Twitter Text number.
The new 'stats' feature allows users to see their basic profile information including bio, number of followers and number of people followed.
There will surely be more features to come from Twitter, so to find out more and keep up to date, visit the Twitter Mobile Help Site.
